Bill 122: The Broader Public Sector Accountability Act (Detailed on the Bill 122 Page)

Following the adoption of Bill 122, the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, in April 2011, Procurement Services revised the University's procurement policies, procedures and support documents to ensure that the University complies with the new directive.

Major changes effective December 19th, 2011, were made to Policy 36, the policy regulating the supply of goods and services, and subsequent changes to procurement procedures and support documentation. For more information about training and mandatory certification please click here.

Updates to the Standardization of Decentralized Purchasing project

Procurement Services in collaboration with the Accounting Sector and Physical Resources Service, have selected four suppliers (DHL Express Canada Ltd, Loomis Express, Panic Express and Purolator Courier Ltd.) for which all purchases and payments will be made using a purchasing card as of May 15, 2012. Other news

The Materials Management Services name has been changed to Procurement Services to better reflect our activities. The website has also been refreshed and will be further developed to provide more information and additional procurement tools for the future.
